Fabrication Guidelines
Drilling
- Use carbide or diamond-coated drill bits for precise hole formation.
- Desmear using plasma or sodium etching for PTFE-enhanced variants.
Lamination
- Process with typical lamination temperatures between 375°F and 425°F (190°C–218°C).
- Apply pressures between 200–300 PSI (14–21 bar).
Plating and Etching
- Compatible with industry-standard etching and plating chemistries.
- Thin copper foils benefit from reinforced handling during fabrication.
Surface Finishes
- Supports immersion tin, immersion silver, ENIG, and OSP.
